Meet Pamela Vera Pinchiera – Sneakerhead and Artist from Chile!
Where are you from? Born and raised in Santiago, Chile.
What’s one thing most people don’t know about you? I really like to draw, but for work and time I gave it up. But I’ll come back!
What’s your go-to sneaker? Nike Air Max 95 OG
How many sneakers do you have? A year ago I counted them and there were more than 130. This year I have not been able to buy many, due to the economic crisis that affects my country, but I think they do not exceed 150.
How would you define a “sneakerhead”? The true sneakerhead is a lover and avid collector for such beautiful design objects.
When styling yourself, what comes first? Shoes or outfit? 180/5000 Depends on the day. There are days when I need to wear a shoe because I want to wear it. Other days if I have a meeting or an event and I choose an outfit and then the shoes.
What’s one sneaker that is on your wishlist? Nike Air Max 1 Parra. I love Parra’s work.
What is your favorite book? I have three. Friends With You, an art collective that do beautiful things and I had the pleasure of meeting them when I was studying Graphic Design at university. Phil Knight’s autobiography, Shoe Dog, and The Ultimate Sneaker Book.
How would you define yourself in three words? Cheerful, funny and pretty.
What’s a must have clothing item everyone should own? A pair of Air Force 1, Low, Mid or High, whichever is most comfortable for you.
If you had to pick only one shoe currently in your closet to wear for the rest of your life, what would it be? Ufff, difficult question. I think my favorite, my Air Max 95 OG.
If your life got turned into a biopic, who would play you and why? I don’t know, I have never identified with an artist, but she would have to be very small and funny like me.
Common Ace wants to uplift your voice? This is for the people of Chile who read this: This October 25 we must vote for APRUEBO, for a new constitution for Chile!
